What is included in deep cleaning?
A deep clean includes everything in a standard visit and then adds the work that months of ordinary living have quietly created. Here is the full list.

Three kinds of buildup, three different approaches
Grease. Cooking oil aerosolizes and settles on cabinet doors above and beside the range, on the hood, and on the wall behind the cooktop — collecting dust as it goes. That film needs a degreaser and dwell time. A general-purpose spray moves it around.
Mineral scale. North Texas water leaves deposits on shower glass, chrome and stainless. Left alone it clouds and eventually etches. Removing it needs a scale-specific product rather than harder scrubbing.
Settled dust. The tops of door frames, return-air grilles, ceiling fan blades, blind slats, window sills, baseboards behind furniture. Gravity puts it there and nobody looks. In Fort Worth this accumulates faster than people expect, because the AC runs most of the year and pollen seasons are long.

What is still excluded
A deep clean is thorough, not unlimited. These sit outside it for practical reasons rather than as upsells.
- Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator — quoted as add-ons because each can take an hour
- Carpet steam cleaning — separate trade, separate equipment
- Wall washing — different from spot-cleaning marks and priced separately
- Exterior windows, gutters and pressure washing
- Work above step-stool height — a safety boundary
- Repairs, painting and caulking — not cleaning work
- Mold, asbestos or lead remediation — licensed contractors only
Book the carpet cleaner after us, not before
Dust knocked down from blinds, fans, sills and baseboards ends up on the floor. If you are having carpets professionally steam cleaned, schedule that after the deep clean rather than before, or you will pay for clean carpet and then rain dust on it.

- How long does a deep clean take?

- Can I book a deep clean for one room?
- Yes. Kitchens and primary bathrooms are the two most commonly booked on their own, and they hold most of the buildup in a typical house.
- Will hard-water stains come off completely?
- Usually the deposit lifts and clarity returns. Where untreated water has sat on glass for years, some etching can be permanent — that is damage to the glass itself rather than a deposit on top of it.
- Do I need to clear surfaces first?
- You do not need to clean, but clearing counters, vanity tops and dresser tops does produce a better result. Cleaners will work around items left out.
- How often should a home get one?
- About once a year for homes on a weekly or biweekly schedule, usually timed to the end of spring pollen season. Homes cleaned less often than that tend to be on a six-month cycle.
